Start by checking you water meter, write down the reading, put some food coloring in the tank of your toilet and wait at least one hour. If when you come back you see that the dye has leaked into the bowl then you know your toilet has a leak, if you don’t see any colored water in the toilet bowl go back to check the meter once again.
